Teacher Training

KEISIE Graduate School offers two TESOL – TEFL programs for Graduate Students. As well as providing comprehensive TESOL – TEFL training, the courses also allow for a single graduate credit that can be applied towards a KEISIE Graduate School Masters Program. There is a second 2 credit short program that builds on this course, allowing students to fully utilize their TESOL – TEFL training.

120 Hour Certificate Course

$500 (US dollars by credit card)

650,000 KRW (Korean Currency by bank transfer)

This course includes 19 units of online instruction and a personal on-site training practicum at the student’s public or private school. (This program is for individuals residing in Korea) It is research and practical application based. Students will be introduced to information they need to have the knowledge and comprehension necessary to work abroad as an English instructor. They will also receive an opportunity to practice their acquired skills in a specially designed training seminar. KEISIE Graduate School promises the following:

  • There are no hidden fees
  • All study except for the on-site visit are done completely online
  • Course requires 6 weeks and one on-site visit to complete your study

100 Hour Certificate Course

This course includes 19 units of instruction needed for a 100 hour TESOL or TEFL Certificate. It is research and practical application based. Students will be introduced to information they need to have the knowledge and comprehension necessary to work abroad as an English instructor. Each unit covers information related to a specific aspect of English Language Instruction.

  • Students must pay the regular Graduate School Application Fees if the course is used for Graduate Study
  • All study is done completely online
  • Course requires 4 weeks to complete your study if you wish to obtain Graduate Credit, or finish in up to 10 weeks to obtain your credentials without credit. Both options provide the TESOL or TEFL certificate.
